A young man enrolled in the Sheep Husbandry program at Texas A&M received his supplies list for the next semester and found “one live sheep” on it. College students try to save money any way they can, so he decided to try to get someone to give him one.

He finds a sheep farmer and explains his plight, then asks, “if I can tell you exactly how many sheep you have, may I have one of them?” The farmer agreed, so the Aggie pulled out a calculator…

“Sir, you have 253 sheep in your flock.” That was correct, so the farmer wished him luck and the Aggie picked up the animal of his choice.

“Son, stop,” said the farmer. “If I can tell you exactly what university you attend, can I have it back?”
“Sure.”
“You attend Texas A&M.”
“How did you know that?”
“You’re carrying my dog.”
