https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/heaviest-blueberryI bought some blueberry plants one time, and the tags promised blueberries THREE INCHES in diameter!
The plants produced 11 blueberries in their 20+ years, all smaller than a marble.
I still have the tag somewhere.

(5,585 posts)Never tried but my sister-in-law here in Florida (near Disney) grew blueberries. Right before they were to be harvested the birds ate every last one. Florida has found a way to grow them now and they are pretty good.

(22,825 posts)said they wouldn't grow here. It's been a labor of love getting the soil at the preferred acidic ph. They are not huge bushes, but they are now around 4 feet high and produce quite a few berries.
Now my problem is keeping the birds away. Rubber snakes aren't working. I have plastic netting and they still find a way of going under the net.
