(9,998 posts)that the best grilled cheese of all is made in the air fryer! (Spousal unit agrees.) Doesn't really matter what kind of bread or cheese, but 400 degrees for 6 minutes will do it. I spread the bread with mayonnaise on both sides. This absolutely does not burn, and the cheese is nice and melted. I am eating one as I type this, and didn't even know this was the day dedicated to it!

(5,444 posts)She buttered the bread on the outside, then put the sandwich into a waffle iron. All the little, crusty squares made a phenomenal texture in my mouth.

(66,465 posts)spread butter on the outside of the slices, then grill in a pan with olive oil. Low heat until the cheese melts, then high heat to caramelize the bread. Blot excess oil with a paper towel. Serve.
Yum!

(3,984 posts)Pre-grill the bread with mayo on one side and butter on the other.
Add a tomato slice and dill pickles.

(14,943 posts)butter, a touch of mayo (inside), some garlic power, 2 or 3 slices of heirloom tomatoes then using
1) Artisan white bread, and extra sharp cheddar cheese
Or
2) Pumpernickel Bread and swiss cheese
Both - yuuuum 🥰😀🥰
