Can't call them kittens anymore.
I haven't been able to tame or socialize them at all, but I've been feeding them.
Well, tonight I have successfully trapped 3!
They go to get snipped first thing in the morning.
Right now, they are just hanging out in their traps in my kitchen, with food and water.
I pick them up sometime in the late afternoon, and they'll spend another night with me.
Then, back to freedom!
But, no reproducing, and they will be more laid back without that reproductive drive.
I'm hoping that I will be able to gradually socialize them after they've calmed down from everything.
I'll keep trying!!!
I have an appointment for 2 more next week. Wish me and all the kitties luck!!!

First three are back in my kitchen.
"Trouble Nuggets" removed!
They are much mellower than last night / this morning.
I guess that's what anesthesia will do to you.
I'm keeping them inside at least until 6pm, when I can feed them.
I'd really like to keep them overnight, though.
We'll see how it goes....
Thanks for all the encouragement!
It really helps, because, my neighborhood is not feral friendly.

(21,569 posts)it is the ladies who are the sexual troublemakers among felines. The hormones when they come in heat are so strong that they really, really crave sex and draw the attention of all the guys who pick up their scent.
They are somewhat wanton.

(115,819 posts)little furry trollops (whose litters often have more than one father), they need snipping as much as the baby daddies. And damn, when they want action they're loud.

(14,529 posts)Did the same with a lame, feral kitty myself 2 years ago..
Had to give her last litter to the shelter..very kind of you to bother so much with the kitties .
