Down here we have fire ants to deal with. My favorite treatment for them is the biggest pot I have full of boiling water. Maybe 1 1/2 gallons. Not only does it get rid of the nest better then chemicals (or propane gas) but I love to hear the little bastards screaming when the scalding water hits them.
