1. My wife has real anxiety whenever we're flying and there's turbulence

Invariably I fall into singing "Peggy Sue" just to get her to laugh and elbow me, thus taking her mind off the turbulence. It's amazing she puts up with me...

🤣 I thought it was hilarious, but I have a sicker sense of humor than most

2. Years ago, another attorney and I chartered a small plane to fly to a deposition.

It was a beautiful May morning, and the charter company had put a tray of fruit, pastries and cream cheese on board so that we could breakfast. Unfortunately, there was a lot of turbulence, and we were unable to eat.

We got to the destination, and went to the deposition which continued without a lunch break. When we ended, in late afternoon, we went back to the airport and got onboard the plane. We were famished, and as we were climbing, Claude asked me to put cream cheese on a bagel for him, since I was closest to the tray.

He was seated backwards, across the aisle from me. As I leaned over and extended my arm to hand him the bagel, we hit an air pocket. I let go of the bagel before he grabbed it, as we dropped about 500 feet in an instant.

Claude didn’t confess anything, but his eyes got real big as he watched that bagel just hanging suspended in the air during the descent!

This is one of my favorite scenes EVER!

In fact, Almost Famous came on one of the cable channels a couple of weeks ago and I watched it again. I'm one who watches movies I like over and over. I'd only seen Almost Famous when it first came out and loved it. On my second viewing, I loved it even more!

This scene is awesome! Thanks for posting...
