I so love foxes and used to fed a wild gray momma fox; she became so comfortable & trusting of me, that she brought her baby kits to see me to get free handouts too. I was just so thrilled and honored.
Huge caveat: I do not recommend getting any wild animals conditioned to humans however, because there's too great a likelihood that some asshole hunter* might come along and kill them. Happened with my momma fox & her kits.
*I hate my deer/antelope hunting neighbor; he's a Repub who is actually afraid of most wildlife, especially bears. (Leave black bears alone, giving them plenty of space, and they will leave you alone. This man would like to kill one for a trophy! ). Anyway, my sweet fox momma approached him one night for a handout & he killed her, up close too, with his bow & arrow. He probably has her skin in his house.
