* By this point I was low on guesses so I started listing possibilities. I came up with 4 (possibly missed some -- if I did then all this reasoning below is faulty), and I judged that it probably wasn't DOZER so I was left with JOKER, POKER, FOYER. So I didn't need to guess K because if the other consonant was P or J then K had to be the other. And if there was a Y then the other had to be F. So I was fairly sure that JUMPY would give me one letter and process of elimination would give me the other.

⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 GONER Foyer never occurred to me. If I had realized earlier that there were so many possibilities, I would have used a guess to eliminate more consonants. Woulda coulda shoulda.

and how difficult it has been for people to solve the puzzle. That surprised me because I was able to solve it in 3, which is unusual for me. Out of 79 games, I've only solved in 3, 20 times.
So let me explain my process
I started with my usual 1st word RAISE.
That gave me an R & E. It also eliminated commonly used letters AIS.
Then I looked for a word which will give me the remaining vowels O, U, & sometimes Y and an N. I selected YOUNG.
That revealed the Y & O with the O in the right space. The 2nd space.
When I have an E & R , I always try them 1st at the end of the word ER.
That gives me _O_ER
I don't see the Y being the first letter so I place that 3rd. So now I have _OYER.
I look over the remaining unused letters on the Wordle keyboard and the 1st one that makes a word is F. So I plugged it in and VOILA! FOYER!
