Out and about in Albuquerque yesterday, I thought it must be snowing since the ground

was littered with white. It turned out to be the petals of our white-flowering trees that the
wind was stripping off the trees. I saw that wherever I went in town, but none of the pink
petals from the pink-flowering trees.

I saw that there's lots of gas for less than 4 bucks a gallon. And there's still lots of
profiteers too.

I saw lots of people wearing masks at The Big Box Store. Good for us.

I saw a genuine Lilac Bush in full flower on a southern corner while driving East on
Candelaria between Louisiana and Wyoming. That brought back some pleasant
memories.

I saw a Roadrunner (the real bird kind) scooting along a sidewalk holding a stick in its
beak. It must be spring.

Back in the '70s I worked at a restaurant near Candelaria and Wyoming. Don't remember the name of the place, but it was popular and always busy.

Went back for a class reunion, and other than our house and the high school, couldn't find anything familiar. Even Old Town was different. That's how time works, I guess.

wearing contacts a mistake. Spring is here. Reminds me of an old NM joke.

Why is it so windy in NM? Because Texas sucks.....

Apologies to all Demo Texans....
