they just added an hour of commercials to the usual three hour show. So many commercials! There is barely time for Joe to pontificate about the failing "woke" democrats.

5. I like it when he has David Remnick, editor of The Newyorker, on the show.

New Yorker, and hardly a right-leaning guy. I look for the quality of the guests on the show. And Mika supports women in politics. That's OK with me!

I just don’t like Joe and his unending talking over guests and Mika. He is an arrogant self promoter.
I don’t care for Mika because I see her as just a suck up to Joe.
The show is always better when those two are not on it.
It deserves its sobriquet of “Morning Joke.”

the law degree Joe has, you must have seen it and used it before. It's quite handy when discussing global politics. I don't. My advanced degree is in Liberal Studies, tho, where I learned many wonderful things, including that pronunciation.

the piece, yet he still mispronounced it immediately following her interjection.

We all make mistakes, but this was a surprising one to me. I think Joe is in catch-up mode in terms of his reading and grounding in history, politics, and literature. One would think anyone who was elected to Congress would have been attempting to do so THEN, but of course, that is no longer the case--at least with Republicans. But, with the very well-educated guests he brings on the show (not to mention having married and being paired with Mika), he can no longer get by with the "illiterate, thus not elite and proud" schtick.
