Allman Brothers Band, live at the University of Florida, Jan. 16, 1982 - full concert

This was just one week before their SNL appearance (1/23/82), after which they broke up. (They'd been unhappy with their reunion albums and couldn't reach an agreement with Arista's Clive Davis on who would produce their next album.)

Setlist below the video.

I LOVE the Allman Brothers, probably saw them 6 times at least since they hailed from these parts. If I could only listen to music from one band - they would be it. However, this sure sufffers from the absence of Duane Allman and Butch Trucks. The music is so complex, the others miss sometimes. Probably some wouldn't notice, especially those not familiar with the original band. Duane was an even better guitar player than Betts and the 2 of them were fire together!
