And the bit about Fish and Chips made me laugh. It's my all time FAVORITE thing to eat.

(26,289 posts)I've made about 8 trips to the UK. Once with my mom and once with both parents.
Something just clicked, with me, during my first trip there, when I was 19. I couldn't see enough or do enough. And the funny thing was how 'at home' I felt. ESPECIALLY in Wales.
Hopefully I'll get to go back, before I die. And, if not, my instructions are to take my ashes to Wales and scatter them.

(6,203 posts).... leave the CC subscripts on so we can understand the dialogue. Eventually, our ears learn the slang and different dialogue depending on the region of the UK.
