(56,582 posts)I've been on a few brief visits there. Mostly I just notice "Oh, that is the Sun, and it is about 3 feet from my face". But the food and music and culture are of course amazing, so I'll just slather on the sunscreen and do my best.

Still, I know most of it is a beautiful island. I hope you'll be happy there. I also hope that when the move is done and dusted, you'll continue to check in here, preferably with photos.

(3,916 posts)like electricity, fuel, etc. things are currently a mess. This is due to oligarchic corruption. Hopefully this situation can be quickly mended. I hope youre aware of what you may be moving into. Good luck!
