This is probably pretty petty, but when is DU going to let our own photos be avatars??

All the photos that i’d Like for an avatar is way to big for the size available here. 😢. I have some, what I think are very nice avatars and the DU size cops won’t allow them. 😅. What can I do?? Oh, and DU’s suggestions are getting pretty tiresome. JMHO.

3. Just have to get handy with photo editing tools really ...

There's a size limit, but not a ban on using your own photo.

You just have to make a photo of you ... a size that will fit within the allowed avatar dimensions.

Do you know any 16 year olds? Many of them could probably help

4. You can reduce those pictures to avatar size, losing quite a bit of quality. But, avatars are not..

intended as showpieces.
