One of my favorite movie scenes. This is from The Deer Hunter (1978).

I think this scene is so compelling to me because no words are spoken, but you can get inside DeNiro's and Walken's heads just by looking at their expressions. For context, this scene is a day or so before they left their small Pennsylvania steel town to serve in Vietnam.
