Plus, my line of work theoretically does random drug tests and I don’t care to risk it.

However, I have no problem with anyone else using it responsibly.

in my garden.... I don't partake the cannabis and use it some for infusions for soaps and salves... usually end up throwing it away...

I have a honey stand and sell raw hemp and make infusions for soaps and salves... I just recently started making tinctures with alcohol and after my accident didn't sleep well and have been using the tincture in the evening

In Uruguay cannabis is legal to possess, use and grow; provided that the user is on one of the government lists for pharmacy purchase, home-grow or club membership.
Retired, legal, and able to get 40 grams a month, I enjoy vaporizing organic, sun-grown, club flower.
I can accumulate up to 480 grams max at any time.
However, there are no edibles, tinctures, oils or waxes unless homemade.

The below I posted to a different forum:

Yesterday I took my monthly trip uphill to pick up the 'flavor (stash) of the month". I need to reduce my delivery by 25% as I am accumulating faster than assimilating.
For 5 de mayo my stash is a familiar name, "White Widow"; I still have some a bit less lime-green color flowers from months ago.

Curiously, looking at two different top sites resulting from a Google search, "white widow strain", I found the following curiosity.
I will not name the sites but will copy and paste text.
It is for such confusions as this that names matter less than the reality that it is cannabis and cannabis cures "samsara" sickness; the human life condition of the sum of all sorrows; existential angst; that nagging discomfort of skin-wrapped-self-identity. Now the quotes.

"A cross between a Brazilian sativa landrace and a resin-heavy South Indian indica, White Widow has blessed every Dutch coffee shop menu since its birth in the 1990s."

"It was produced by Dutch veterans Green House Seeds in the 1990s as a cross between Brazilian indica and South Indian sativa landraces."

They are 25mg of the CBD and 5mg thc. I take one before bed and I really helps with sleep. Sometimes I take one during the day just for calming.
I buy them online from a company called fiveCBD, they ship promptly from California. I also buy chocolate from a local dealer and they come in various strengths. I do not enjoy being wasted but I do love a good nights sleep.

of the above also. Tried it once at 18 and once at 19, was too paranoid to enjoy it. Got divorced got a new man in my life. He smoked so I tried it again at 28. I realized then, this was made just for me! I quit drinking in 93 have continued the herb for 45 years now.

It is a better buzz than THC and no paranoia.
Available at any CBD shop or tobacco shops.

The republicans are trying to make it illegal because people can get a buzz.

Their alcohol is far more dangerous, they need to get a clue.

Along with some flower occasionally but prefer not to smoke. From teens to my 30s I used it a lot but didn't much after until I retired five years ago and moved to a legal state. It really gives me a fuller sense of well-being during these sometimes depressing times - without the negatives of alcohol.

My wife makes her own edibles and uses cookies as a sleep aid.

I have never gotten any medical results from it. Never had it relieve pain, etc. I smoke it to make the music sound better. I've been smoking it off and on (mostly on) for about 55 years. Literally started on a weekend in the Haight-Ashbury in the summer of '67. I stopped smoking tobacco 20 years ago.

There’s a little THC in it to varying degrees depending on the tincture or vape but not a lot. It’s relaxing and genuinely helps with joint pain.

I don’t smoke much just for the high. I do now and again. It’s legal here and the varieties are fascinating. I go to a little shop run by young women who are sweet and knowledgeable about what’s good for what.

There’s an app called Leafly that’s fabulous for giving info on strains and what they’re useful for.

moved to Bay Area after...SF, Oak, then finally Berkeley. Had friends with weigh and was allowed to tip. Sampled O (glad I didn't run into that too much, could've gotten hooked). Finally got a real job, got some good job experience and a chance to relocate to NY from a college friend came along.

Move to NY and then had to pay attention to make it, cut back on getting high, but I've been there and done that.

Recently tried some of the super weed that's out now. The highs are like acid highs back in the day and last as long.

I've been smoking every day since I was in my early 40's and I'm 70 now. I smoked basically most of the time since I was 17, but there would be weeks between bags and occasionally I'd stop for 6 months or more until I took anti=depressant and it stopped my ability to go to sleep. I was taking kava=kava but it got removed from the market & I returned to pot and have never looked back.

Smoking flower is the cheapest so mostly what I do but I use vapes for smoking in the house & watching tv and take a 10 mg cbd/thc 1:1 ratio pill at night with my very low dose Cymbalta. I used to use the 1;1 concentrate but it's more expensive, though I think it does work a little better for me. Can't take the tinctures, or RSO, they bother my stomach. I've found a few strains that are high thc and have significant cbd that work good for my anxiety, pain & even one good for my glaucoma.

33. I have COPD so I can't smoke

I live in KY, so THC isn't legal, and about a month ago, a relative gave me some bud. I wound up just chewing it up. The bad thing about that is you aren't able to gauge how much THC you are getting until about 20 minutes, and by then it's too late. I couldn't walk for about 2 hours, it was definitely good stuff.

After that experience, a friend gave me some peach gummies, and I looked them up on the website, and they are 2:1 CBD:THC, which answers some of my questions. Website said they were for a "calm high" and good for beginners. I was a daily pot smoker for about 25 years. I'd equate those gummies to nicotine gum instead of a cigarette. Just not the same thing.

These two instances were the first I'd had in about 18 years. I'll say this for the gummies, I definitely got the munchies, but the high was very subdued.

Wish I could find a way to get some edibles that are stronger than those I just had. I miss pot.

The high with edibles will never be the same as it is with flaming flower. Your friend should smuggle you some RSO. (Rick Simpson Oil) I use that to relieve the side effects of the COPD drugs.
