I am dismayed that it rose to 30. Fortunately I am ahead of the rush.

When I was first in school, nobody had my name, but by the time I was old enough to get my first job - a summer job at an amusement park - I knew that if I heard someone calling my name, they were likely calling a preschooler. That's when my name became popular.

But I had no idea how much.

It was #289 in 2000, but #3 now.

My name is Charlotte.

People who don’t even know me love to call me Miz Charlotte

[My name] is not in the top 1000 names for any year of birth beginning with 2000.

[My name] was a Top 50 name from around 1908 to 1930.

My name has been old fashioned since before I was even born.

At first glance on the chart, I thought it was becoming more popular, but then I realised I was looking at it upside-down and it's actually becoming rarer.

It's possible that fewer boys are getting named after Ronald Colman these days.

Most of the male names surprise me. While the female names seem to be more "modern" the Male names seem to be a throw backs to earlier years, i.e.; Benjamin, Oliver, Theodore, Henry, James. Much more conventional than the female names.

But the list I saw only started in the year 2000. I doesn't go way back in antiquity to when I was named.
