daddy robin haven’t been around for a couple of days. Then today I was checking on the nest and I think I see one of the baby’s head and it’s not moving, and no sign of the 2nd baby either. 😢 What do ya think happened?? That bird flu?? Another bird killed them, do sparrows kill baby robins?? I’m just sick.

1. crows or ravens kill fledglings.

my wife has a large black bird, she/we think it's a raven, bringing her birds, parts of birds, hot dogs, more parts of birds, sausage patties, bird heads, and more. He/she leaves them in the birdbath to tenderize and it stinks like a packing house out there. Then it comes back to eat.

But to answer your ? Yes. they kill baby robins.

2. Thank you for responding........we have had this robins nest area for at least 15 years......

and have NEVER had any deaths before……am sick over this. Sick. I wonder if the momma will come back and have more babies……if I remember, the momma previously had like three sets of babies. I wonder if she’ll come back for more families. I’m so sad.
