Serious life important question and Google has no idea what I'm on about.....Whistling Coffee maker?

Every day-or almost every day. When I make my coffee-percolator old school grounds in basket boil for 13 minutes. I set the timer & walk off. Distracted & maybe in another room I fail to hear the beeping stove timer and I boil over into the spill tray etc....

If I had $ for a stove that turned itself off I wouldn't ask.

Is there a whistling percolator?. Actual percolator I can use store bought ground coffee in that whistles when the water boils?. Water kettles that whistle abound. I use one often. But that's not how I make my coffee.

Is 2022 that bereft of innovations that matter-oh the pain what a world (Zachary Smith without coffee).

I honestly did a search & nada zip.

One that is loud enough to overcome distance and distraction.

When I remember that is....

I'm also a mechanical watch tinker'r. I have a parking timer and stopwatches but they didn't make a wind up countdown wrist alarm timer that I'm aware of. But I'm sure someone did it at some time.

I use the old kitchen windup timer and just try to put it in earshot..

I use an old mechanical kitchen timer to keep track of our dryer, which has a broken timer.

Stove timers can be pretty wispy voiced, and I often need a pretty harsh clang to jolt me back to reality.

I had a porcelain tea kettle once, without a whistle. I intended to be mindful, but it didn't last long. The "alarm" was the sound of its shards ricocheting around the kitchen after the contents boiled off.

The whistle pot is just a water kettle fancified. Can't put grounds in it unless you like your coffee chewy.
