Big Fun in Uranus

I spent a little time in Uranus recently.

Uranus, MO, that is. A tiny town on old Route 66 one exit east of Fort Leonard Wood.

Home of the Uranus Fudge Factory. Because the best fudge comes from Uranus.

It's a total tourist-trap, they don't miss a single pun, and it's a fun stop.

I hope they do well, they deserve it. It's a welcome island in today's world of bland corporate same-from-coast-to-coast crapola.

I’d think to myself “I’m glad I don’t live here and see these signs everyday”

Now they’ve built a second location by Anderson, Indiana. The signs along I-69 have begun to go up. Soon the entire corridor will be about Uranus.
