probably 5 times and #6 is in progress. I love the music (the first of his greatest symphonies IMHO) and with orchestra performance and more, so that the movie may be not the greatest is well, such is life. I don't know if its inaccurate or not.
about 13:30 "this piece is a monster"
14;38 - Movement #1 begins (ends at 31:46)
29:28 - "A Haydn would be over by now, wouldn't it?" (15 minute into the FIRST movement)
Not an exact quote, but pretty close.
2nd movement begins 33:40 (the famous funeral march). Ends 47:45
3rd movement begins around 1:01 h:m ends 1:04:36
(Haydn makes his entrance around 1:03)
4th movment 1:09 - 1:21

(10,909 posts)march) 33:40 to 47:45 (14 min). But there are no weak movements in this symphony, they are all well above his average, which says a lot.

(39,376 posts)I saw them play Eroica at Carnegie Hall right before COVID hit. The lead violinist (Peter Hanson) is the same guy as in the film so I kept having flashbacks. It was very cool.

However in any case I have seen this and I agree that the music is exquisite.
