That’s more than 127 degrees F. Travel is nice, but Hell is not on my itinerary.

... which is on Timor just down the street from Bali. What I found weird in my browsing was that the cheapest flights from Jacksonville or Orlando first went to Chicago before turning around and going to Indonesia via the Emirates. It was cheaper to do that then leave directly from JFK, and flights from LAX also took the Atlantic route rather than going via the Pacific, which I found counter-intuitive (but maybe the Clipper route is no longer active).

It's funny that Bali has become a popular tourist destination. During WW2, the engineers gave up trying to build an airbase there because the conditions were so terrible. And US engineers could build just about anything anywhere.
