I have always thought La Villa Strangiato is just a vehicle for them to say "look at how good we are!"

The thing is, though…they are that good.

1. They couldn't play it all in one go when they recorded it

They recorded it in 3 sections. Then they practiced it until they could do it all in one go, and made it a staple of their live shows. This is a great piece.

3. They were my favorite band for most of their 40-year existence.

There are many bands I like, but no one comes close to these guys.

They went out on a very high note, so to speak. I do miss them.
