One such scumbag has just moved into our neighborhood. Yesterday one of his dogs took a crap in front of the community mailbox. I cleaned it up.

would either grab a bag or a shovel and pick up dog crap left on his lawn. When he knew who was responsible, he would walk it down to their house and toss it on their lawn and shout, "You forgot something!"

5. I spend more time picking up others' than that of my own dog. What really gets me is those

who allow their dogs (off-leash) to literally poop on my lawn barely a foot from my front door, rather than the 30-40 plus feet between my front door and sidewalk or the multiple open-space areas very close by.

I satisfy my urge to "kill" by picturing their karmic end--in a pit of feces.

A new neighbor lets his dog out off leash, then he poops in my tiny front garden. when i talk to him about it, he cleans it up, but says it can't be helped.

I am thinking about ordering a Scraminal. It's a motion detector to keep animals out of forbidden places. It is loud and only takes about 2-3 tries before they learn. But it's $70 on Amazon. I don't want to shell out $70 because my neighbor is an asshole.

on a leash into our yard when she was a puppy was TELLING her that's where the potty is. They stopped and took her to another yard and now when she's off leash, that's where she goes. I love this dog and often dog sit. I let her go in her OWN yard!

I can easily identify more than one bush in our neighborhood where dogs are marking with pee, and then of course every other dog wants to mark that same bush. Those bushes do not do well, and eventually will die.

I believe responsible dog owners, if informed, would be able to control their dogs and "spread the pee around". (I know there must be a joke in there somewhere).

We had a heck of a problem with dog poop when we first moved in, and we don't own a dog.

There are animal repellants that may also be helpful. Back in the day, they really worked wonders.

Dh has yelled at a neighbor before for letting their dog poop in our driveway. When we walk our dogs, we direct them to the wild areas to poop, and use a poop bag to grab it when they’re done. We don’t let them poo on the nice lawns, just either bare dirt or overgrown ivy. Same with peeing- we gently move them away from bushes.

26. We own a small second home on one of the Finger Lakes...

...in upstate NY. We live in the greater Chicago area, so only get here a couple of times a year, and it's a rental property during the summer and early fall.

We got here at the beginning of the week to find out that some self-centered lazy schmuck has been dumping their dog poop bags in our trash container all winter. Because the place has been empty since late fall, there's been no trash pickup since November. Really nasty mess. I wish I could find out who it is.

2 rental seasons ago, my housekeeper told me that one renter let her dog poop in the basement, and didn't clean it up.

or in a public place, and leave it, that commit almost any other crime. As scumbags go, these people are pretty far down on my list. Thieves, vandals, drunk drivers, rapists, murderers...
the list goes on. There are many worse. Life in the city has many hazards; stepping in a pile of shit just isn't worth getting worked up over.
