How often do you take or drive Ubers? What is your rider or driver rating?

My mom and I take a lot of Ubers. We get mostly 5* ratings from drivers. But on our last 2 rides, we got hit with a 4* and 3*. Everything on the rides seemed ok and the drivers were nice. But apparently they thought they waited too long at Wawa. I can only think of that being an issue. Instead of acting phony, however, I wish they would say what the problem was. Our 4.96 rating is now 4.94.

really kind of suck for a lot of reasons. No guardrails, no moderation, no curation -- and then we use this 'garbage' to make real decisions with real consequence to participants. Brilliant!

I think sometimes they are anxious to get to the next ride. But it is too bad that they act like they had no problem, then rate below 5*.

6. Still confused. Taxis leave meter running while they are asked to wait. Do Uber drivers not

get paid for their time? Only if their engine is running and the car is moving?

I haven't ridden Uber or Lyft in a long time. Frankly, I wasn't aware that they rate you. A bit incomprehensible unless a passenger has been a real a'hole...

But I only had that happen once, and it was only 40 cents extra. I tipped both drivers $5 on the app and they never even thanked me and gave lower ratings.

I don't use them often, but I have used them across three states. Never had a problem.

Our breakdown is:

5* - 138
4* - 3
3* - 1
2* - 0
1* - 1 (have no idea what that was about - was a long time ago)

I will sometimes give a retaliatory rating, but it otherwise has to be a very bad ride to get lower. Sometimes I do not rate.
