I do not understand the point of spoiler threads even though it is just a silly game

2. I think it's interesting to see how others solve the puzzle

It's a logic puzzle, not just a guessing game. I don't understand why someone would just post their result.

BTW, you can only view WordleBot's analysis after you complete the puzzle.

3. I look forward to the spoiler threads.

I enjoy seeing how other folks go about solving it. It's instructive to see successful and less successful strategies, and it's also turned into a sweet subcommunity on DU. But to each their own.

Wordlebot is instructive, too. After you solve the puzzle, Wordlebot analyzes your choices and tells you both how lucky and how skillful you were, as well as what some better guesses might have been. It only analyzes your completed daily puzzle; it doesn't help you midway through.

5. My real problem is a spoiler thread at 4am, before most people...

are up. I thought the people who liked spoilers preferred them after trying themselves.

The op made me think wordlebot helped you get an answer.

8. So long as it says SPOILER in the title, no problem.

There's a group of us that play Wordle first thing in the morning. And once a spoiler thread is up, folks can click or not click on it at their leisure. If William Seger posts one at the crack of dawn but someone else doesn't solve Wordle until after their third cup of coffee, the spoiler thread is there, waiting for them.

Anyway, I hope you have a great day. Life's too short to worry about Wordle and spoiler threads.
