Just a little comment about the royals: what is it with the women's funny hats?

Do the Brits have a "thing" about kooky hat styles for women?

Bring back Monty Python! "Funny walks" could become "funny hats."

(altho the recent crop of women's hats at the festivities have become less weird than I expected.

It's a Brit thing. Women's hats have to be odder than men's. TreasonousBastard Jun 2022 #1

I think they are beautiful and real art in fashion.

Because the Bible and other religions believed women should cover their hair. It makes men randy or some such bs.

And they had mink stoles or coats, with the animal still attached. Used to freak me out if I had to sit behind one, to see those little beady eyes.

Paws, too. It was really creepy, like wearing a hunting trophy.

I could possibly get away with wearing it to a beach situation, where you need a hat for shade.
