"Whearat" is considered archaic. Whoever objected is not "activley seeking to downsize their vocabulary". They may be seeking clarity in company communication.

Please avoid "and/or." You almost always mean "or." Please don't use "each and every" or "any and all." Pick one, for the love of all that's holy and/or unholy.

Please avoid telling me what I almost always mean with “and/or” unless you know the difference between “inclusive or” and “exclusive or”. That is to say “OR” and “XOR” from IBM 360 assembly code.
