Whew! Drained a sebaceous cyst just a whisper away from the patient's left eye.

Tricky business. I'd been reviewing the procedure over and over in my mind all week, and today was the moment of truth. It's always ticklish getting a blade that close to a patient's eye. I felt like that guy in the movies who has to cut the correct wire on a time-bomb.

Got it done, and now the relief is washing over me...

I'll be having an especially stiff drink tomorrow night to celebrate...

Maybe I should've waited till tomorrow nights "ask you anything" but I'm curious.

Good job!

Every procedure is a little different. I once had to excise a skin tag that was actually on a patient's eyelid. That was tricky. But for some reason, this one seemed more difficult. Anyway, she came through it like a champ and left the clinic happy and smiling. So that's that.

I have wondered if I should have it removed, and if I could do it by wrapping it with a rubber band.

and snip! the skin tag was gone in 2 sec. Yeah it hurt a little, but doing anything else probably would have been just as painful.

the eyelid, next to the lashes. I asked him to leave me some lashes if he could.

Only hurt a little. He gave me a tiny tube of antibiotic gel to use until it healed. One time I didn't realize until after applying the gel that I had grabbed another tube the same size, but it was Orajel. Fortunately, no harm done. It healed fine but left a small white spot where it had been.

I appreciate the preparations.

They both formed on my chest wall (not on my breast), and were benign. But they probably would have gotten bigger.
