We had one little girl cat who brought the neighbors over with her loud complaints.

They came over and said they heard a noise like somebody screaming in pain. Yep - we were bathing this little 7 pound girl kitty.

My ex wife wanted to bathe our 2 rescue cats once a month. They hated it and I hated it. Cats are self cleaning as far as I am concerned. I got custody of the cats in the divorce and they never had to go through that nightmare again. We spent many years of peace after she left.

husband had just drained. He ended up doing an extended stint in the shower with a very pissed off cat.

Would go out of his way to chase a dog, regardless of size. My dad loved him, he my dad were true buddies- Mom not so much. He'd disappear for days, sometimes weeks on end and always return worse for wear - stunk of sex, dirty, filthy, and often bloodied. Mom would wrap him in an old pillow case she kept just for him and dunk him in the cellar wash tubs that had Lysol in it. Fed, nursed him back to health, then the same routine. One hell of a cat.

We cats bathe ourselves. Take that water and put a doggy in it. Maybe you'll wash off the doggy smell.
