Thank you for this posting. I enjoyed the very informative and easy-to-view video. Also, I had no idea those craft were as old as they claimed nor was I aware of their overall size and their extreme capabilities.

Never saw this drone, but the Predators were pretty common and even they were much bigger than I’d imagined. I’d see them on the runway taking off and even those were the size of a small private plane. I guess I had the idea they were small like the recreational drones I’d seen in the US. Of course there’s no reason they can’t be as big as anything else and if you don’t have to worry about a human pilot there’s more room for fuel and gear.

It’s amazing what you can learn from FlightAware…Global Hawks have been flying a lot of missions over the Black Sea since Russia invaded Ukraine.
