Back when I was a kid....,

We’d go see a cowboy movie and watch the fireworks at the drive in movie.

1. When I was a kid at a celebration at the park

I found a five dollar bill. My dad said I could spend it any way I wanted. I was rich, I tells ya.

2. My dad said when he was a kid

his friend found a $20 gold coin on the ground. Said that kid never saw the sky again.

3. The first fireworks I remember I was 2, maybe 3.

My dad had me on his shoulders and I was miserable there. I knew I couldn't grab his ears to keep from falling off so I tried to stay balanced and held on with my legs. I never told him or my mom how much I hated that.
