Every summer, at least 200 crows show up in my yard (rural, lots of trees, creek). That many crows cawing means that I can't hear myself think, or talk on the phone, or listen to anything, from inside my house.

I take a pair of binoculars and watch them from my bedrom window until they leave. I look forward to it every summer. So does my dog. He watches them with me until he gets bored.

Crows are also very loud when a whole group of them goes after hawks who are trying to catch a lone crow who must have strayed from the group. It's fun to watch them chase off a hawk to protect their own. The crows always win.
