I happened to catch a few moments of the show "Shark Tank".

It's a show where people seek funds from successful investors in order to advance a product or business idea.

Mark Cuban and Kevin O'Leary are two of the sharks, for example.

Sometimes the sharks will invest after hearing a pitch to them, sometimes they will refuse to invest, and sometimes they even mock the people who are seeking their investment. If they refuse to invest, they'll sometimes give well thought out reasons like "You are are asking me for $500,000 and in return, you would give me a 10% equity share for my investment. This means that you think your business should currently be valued at $5,000,000, but you have not even generated any revenue yet! Your concept is not scalable, and there is no way I can justify investing $500,000 in something like this. So for these reasons, I'm out.

If I were a shark on that show, my answer would probably be the same each time:

I think you gave a wonderful presentation, but I honestly have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. In addition, I'm pretty bad with finances.

So for these reasons, I'm out.

'cause selling $5 pillows for $50 is a great business plan.
