But Jules Alexander was a founding member (used his middle name, Gary, on the first two albums).

Over the many years, they've had a long list of members who played in the band, with some leaving and returning. Some nine of those have died.

All of the band members have played together off and on since the mid 1980s and two since the 60's. Two of the early band members died, but the son of one and the brother of another replaced them by the mid-1980s.

I got to hear them a few years ago in person. Wonderful concert and songs.
