I'm so frustrated. My hospital's billing system SUCKS.

I see a doctor who is employed by my local hospital.

I received a bill from him today for a $50.00. The bill came via email, and asked me to pay via following the links in the email. The payment actually goes to the hospital.

I've been trying for 3 hours and it's not taking my payment.

I got through the first question OK.

'Would you like to pay by credit card? I clicked yes.

Then, it brought me to the next question. It confused be though. There was nothing to click, there was just a rectangular box where you type something in.

It kept rejecting every answer I typed in.

The question was "Name on card". I tried everything I could think of, but it kept rejecting my answers. I answered as follows.

Name on card: yes

Name on card: yes there is

Name on card: I said yes

Name on card: Capital One

Name on card: The gray colored one, not the other one they have

Name on card: I said "Capital One"

Name on card: The one where they give you the cash back

Name on card: CAPITAL ONE CASH BACK CARD

Name on card: Mastercard

Name on card: Mastercard, not Visa

None of my answers worked.

I'm trying to reach their IT department now to tell then how fucked up their system is.

I doubt they would ask for my name. Their IT department would know that's a security risk.

If it turns out that is what they are asking, I'll use a fake name to protect myself.

I think I'll just go ahead and use my standard fake name that I always use in situations like this:

"Mike Oxlittle"
