I was in my late teens and dating a guy who grew up worshiping the Chicago Bears. The story of Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccolo's friendship was well-known to him. However I'd never heard of either of them (at that point.) Boyfriend and I watched this movie together and we both cried like babies.
It was so-o-o-o good, and so sad!

is going to a University of Kansas football game and watching Gale Sayers run right through the opposing team. It was like they gave him the ball almost every down and he would run right through the defense.
