As with the other shots, there were no side effects, not even any pain at the injection site. The Nurse who gave me the shot was maybe not quite as nimble as the others I have had for the other shots, but I was her first one of the day. No big deal, I just felt the stick a little bit. As always, I thanked her and told her she was very good at what she does. I have RNs in my family, including my wife and they really do appreciate hearing that. The hear the opposite often enough from grumpy people.

(16,846 posts)other than some soreness. Never got sick from any of them. I got all of the shots as soon as I could get them so I hope I'm protected, if not from getting the virus, then from getting really sick from it.

I have to admit, I'd have a hard time getting another on if a shot made me sick. I mean, I'm smart enough to know it's better in the long run, I'd just feel conflicted about it. I understand why some people feel that way.

(11,100 posts)The original shot had minimal effects. I was SICK with the second shot. Neither of the boosters caused any symptoms.
I'd feel better if there was some symptom, just to let me know they really injected something. If the medicine doesn't taste bad, it cannot work - right?
