Amazon makes us all want things, but we should ask ourselves if we actually need these things. Most times the answer is a flat no!
Just trying to help out a fellow impulse buyer. I found myself doing it quite often, and now I always ask myself the "need" question before I click 'buy now'.

A young buddy at one of my grocery stores always reminds me: "Quit buying stuff!" A good coach.

(19,204 posts)I know exactly how you feel. I used to be one of the worst impulse buyers on the planet. I was finding things around the house that I had bought and never opened. That's when I knew it was time to get a grip on my buying practices.
We'll get it under control.

(20,252 posts)It's psychological. Me needing to fill a void perhaps. I justify it saying I'm stimulating the economy.
Now waiting for a delivery of Tom Ford's 'Lilac Nymph' lipstick that's been discontinued it seems. A small luxury. Still have half a tube from last year but wanted back-up. 😉
