Has anyone seen the French alien series, "Visitors?" HBOMax.
It's in French, with English captions.
Quirky characters in a French town that face an end of the world scenario. Very different from an American version because there doesn't seem to be a way out this situation, especially when the main characters are too consumed with their own interpersonal problems to focus on a solution to the immediate problem until it's really too late.
The end feels more like a Twilight Zone scenario. In my mind, it is begging for a second season, but I am not hearing anything on google that suggests that it's headed that way.
