Coffee spill on the laptop

This happened to me yesterday morning. Spilled a cup of coffee on my laptop. Panic ensued. I did everything that sounded logical, and everything that didn't sound logical but that didn't seem like it would hurt. Then left the computer keys-down in front of a fan overnight.

It's working this morning, thank the gods. But what is your best advice for when that happens?

What has worked for you?

I have one for my iPad, and I can’t even tell that it’s there.

Maybe you already know this - they are called keyboard skins. I was just looking them up.
