A summer pasta should be simple and fresh, ideally made with vegetables straight from the garden or market. Look for the best artisanal ricotta; top-quality ingredients make all the difference here.

(8,524 posts)1. Thanks!
I love a summer dinner of pasta, zucchini, basil and cheese (I usually add garden or local tomatoes, too) but I usually use fresh mozzarella. I never think to use ricotta! I'm going to give this a try.

Sadly, the bunnies ate the zucchini plants early on so I will visit my local farm stand this year. Ill definitely try this recipe.
