Had to take my work car in because it was farting
I was driving around through lightning and heavy gusting winds. I was listening to a comedy station on SiriusXM and it seemed odd that the comedians were telling a lot of fart jokes. Then there was a fart during a commercial. Turned off the radio and discovered it was coming from the driver's side front of the vehicle. I began to suspect it was a loose brake pad or a bad bearing.
I stopped and had a look under the hood and discovered that I was out of radiator fluid in the reservoir so I topped it up. My boss does all the work on the vehicles (it's my car but I'm not going to complain about free oil changes, brake and rotor replacement etc) so I phoned him and he said bring it over. On the way there, no farting. New theory, it was sucking sounds from the coolant system (boss said it doesn't work like that).
So he looked under the hood, checked belts, fluids, discovered a leak and now he's all excited about ripping half the engine apart, checked the driver's side wheel but couldn't find anything wrong so he said drive it home and bring it back today.
Got it out on the highway and it's farting real bad so I decided to get off onto a regular street. As I was turning, got hit with a gust of wind - fart. Drove along the street, wind gust - fart. Wait a minute.
Got home and took a look at the front of the car and found the problem. A wind gust had torn the front spoiler half off and every time I went fast or got hit by a gust of wind it would resonate - hence the farting noise.
Boss said I don't need it, just rip the rest of it off.
