in the early 80s. And I was 6th row center at a J. Geils Band show in the Iowa Fieldhouse.

In May 1976. The Who set a world record that lasted eight years: the volume of their performance at the Charlton Athletic soccer field in London was measured in 126 decibels - And that's 100 feet away from the speakers!

Saw them in Cleveland in 1975 and many more times post Moon.

It's cool that Zak Starkey, Ringo's son, has been the drummer for The Who longer than Keith Moon, and that Moon gave Zak his first drum kit at age 10.

To this day, The Who is the best live rock band I have ever seen.

Going to see the tour they are currently in with local orchestras in Columbus this year.
