I spent a good 30 minutes a few days ago plucking them and trimming them with one of those little grooming trimmers.
I just happened to look in the mirror now, and there's a big white single hair growing out of my left eyebrow that's the thickness of a 12 gauge copper wire, and it's so long, that I'm tripping over it.

(17,441 posts)I have to trim them about twice a week. They grow so fast that after a few days, I can use my thumbnail for a spoon.

I'd be looking at any recent meds added to your regimen if it were me, but I'm not a doctor.
I can, however, run it by my PA girlfriend, and will, if you'd like. She's off work and should be here shortly.
Though she's not a DU'er, technically, she's def. 'one of us'

(1,641 posts)As the white hairs come in, they're a wee bit thicker than the regular ones and when they grow around my lip line drive me absolutely nuts.
And gotta love the ones that show up in my nostrils...

When my mom was in the nursing home, I used to have to go shave her about once a week.
Those were bonding moments. I actually enjoyed doing it.
Like the old joke:
Why do Italian men grow mustaches?
So they can look like their mothers.
I'm Italian, so I can tell that joke.
