I initially joined up in early 2002 with a different screen name after the madcowboy was selected.

I was at complete ease when Barack became our CiC for 2 glorious terms.

In 2009 my mom suffered a major stroke and our lives were put on hold. I read posts, but curtailed posting myself.

Then in 2017 after the devastating reality of HRC and the 'antithesis', I rejoined DU with this new screen name. I had a mb paranormal sense that the 'wrong one installed' in the oval office and any contributing 'factors' would be cleaned out, hence 'spring cleaning now'. That did not happen and so here we are.

I have thought of and referred to this skit many times over the years since I saw it in real time. The early years were the best years of SNL in my opinion.
