Does anyone have high deductible health insurance with an HSA

If so, how much is your monthly premium, and is it just for you, you and a spouse or your family.

I'm trying to find prices on family plans, but everything online requires my phone number.

Thanks!

I get my insurance through work, my financial advisor recommended high deductible plan with an HSA. One thing I would urge you to look into is the prescription drug aspect of the insurance. One of mine doubled after I switched, but that could just be big pharma scamming me like everyone else. Peace

I have a client who has a partnership with his wife. They are real estate agents and have a high income, but currently they are insuring their family through one of those Christian Health Network deals (don't get me started). Sure, it's cheap, but their out of pocket medical and dental is crazy high, and they are so vulnerable if they were ever in an accident or had a major medical expense.

They always complain about how much their taxes are, so I'm trying to estimate

I can’t tell you the cost any more - it was several years ago. Also, pricing will have gone up a bunch since then. But what I can tell you is that we did it as an experiment, as it was the option being really pushed by the company. It was not worth it. We have not had significant changes in our health care year to year (and both of us are generally healthy and don’t see a doctor all that often), but getting a low deductible plan has been a much better deal in costs overall, than this high deductible/hsa nonsense.
