This shadow on the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction, AZ, the cougar, only appears twice a year for approximately a week just as the sun is setting.

25. If you take the photo at the right time of day in the summer

It looks more horse-like through the shadows and the rock features. I took this one in the spring and it looks more like an alpaca or llama which still would be a tasty snack for that cougar.

Superstion mountain, we have Spook Hill, story goes, when the cattle run came through the cattle would get spooked and stampede ..

Location is no more than 20 miles east...Will go on hunt for cougar in Sept. New camera in near future..Will share..
