her little sister. I first met her at her kid brothers home who had invited me for dinner. I was 12 or 13. She around 17 or 18. She was dressed for a date in a red sleeveless dress with a high collar. Her hair was jet black and she had eyes the color of blue sapphire. Her skin was white alabaster. I was smitten.
At some point, for whatever reason, we were all measuring our height against one and another. She said Come on Floyd, back to back or belly to belly? I damn near fainted.
Her dad admonished her and ended the contest.
I rarely saw her after that as she went off to university and married. Her husband died a few years ago from cancer.
