Whoever decided to put Loctite on key fob screws to keep me from changing the battery myself.
Well, you rat bastard, I got the screws out and replaced the battery instead of paying the dealer $85.00.

Fossil and other brands did the same thing so you couldn't replace your own battery, and often the battery shops couldn't do it either.

The loctite is there to prevent the screws from loosening (through vibration or whatever) and having the fob become several smaller pieces that end up under the car you can't move because the entry fob is no longer working.
I know this is no consolation.
You can use nail polish for the same result if you wear glasses and the screws tend to loosen up on them.
